Community 5x1 Reaction | "Repilot". I'm gonna have to get used to Prof. Winger. But I'm already loving Prof Chang. Back where he Changlongs.

This is a sentimental episode for me. The "Repilot" explicitly calls back to many of the moments in the pilot, and that was a neat experience when I saw this the first time. It sets up the season for where the characters are at. It served as a new beginning.
A new beginning indeed
Chevy wasn't allowed on set due to his disagreement with Sony. So Dan Harmon was able to shoot his cameo on a different set away from everyone as a compromise.
Ahh well that makes sense
The Scrubs season 9 Zach Braff becoming a teacher and leaving after 6 episodes thing and Troy got mad. What an interesting thing to bring up >_>
Also that was Zach Braff with the closing narration.
Chevy Chase was done during s4 which is why you saw him randomly throughout the season. When DH was rehired, he reached out and made up with Chevy and got him to record one last thing (holo Pierce).
The Pilot and RePilot episodes mimicked/mirrored (idk the term) each other pretty well.
Jeff wants to start a group for nefarious reasons... Abed invites everyone else.
Jeff leaves the study room numerous times to talk to someone outside the group - Duncan before... Dean/Tango this time.
Jeff gets the group to turn on each other and then agree to one thing.
Jeff changes his mind and convinces everyone to group up and tackle the future together.
You're gonna love eps 3, it's a call back to a line Annie said waaaaay back in season 2.
You always come with receipts. I’m gonna have to watch both episodes back to back soon or find a RUclips breakdown. That sounds pretty cool though.
Love this episode. Harmon came back in force. You can tell he was brewing these bits for a while.

season 5 is not my favourite, but it has some episodes i loved...cant tell you why because of spoilers.

4,5,9,10,11
after looking at the episode list i think this season is better than i give it credit for.
the others that arent my favourite are also pretty solid, mostly.....the first one is probably the weakest one.
